Common Shipping Issues
Shipping bottles can be a complicated procedure
Shipping bottles via a courier can present several challenges for companies. Here are a few common issues and resolutions.
Packaging must protect the bottles from damage during handling and transport. Inadequate packaging can result in smashed or cracked bottles, causing leaks and customer dissatisfaction.
Bottles must be securely packaged to prevent leaks and damage during transit. This often requires specialised packaging materials and techniques, which are timely and expensive.
Many drinks can be sensitive to temperature changes. Extreme heat or cold can affect its taste. Ensuring the beverage remains at the correct temperature range during transit is crucial.
The use of non-eco packaging and the environmental impact of shipping hazardous materials are concerns. Companies are increasingly pressured to adopt more sustainable practices.
The fibrous structure of moulded fibre effectively absorbs shocks and vibrations during transport, making it ideal for protecting bottles and reducing the risk of leakage.
The versatility of moulded pulp lets companies eliminate unnecessary packaging and adopt streamlined designs. Easy-to-assemble and open packaging saves time for senders and recipients.
Moulded fibre is highly versatile and has inherent insulation properties which are invaluable for temperature-sensitive products like juices.
Sourced from natural waste material, moulded fibre is recognised as one of the most sustainable solutions. It reflects a commitment to responsible choices diminishing the demand for new materials.
